My Experience with Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

Let me take you back into my life back in around 2017 where I was still bored with my life since entering high school. I was doing well but part of me doesn't have any pulse to do anything worthwhile, even with holidays and countless of festivals I've been to didn't even give me the pleasure of happiness that I seek since 2016 aka one of the best year of my life. Also this was around the time where I met new friends and most of them are anime fans and I really took an interest with the genre since one of my influence Chris Stuckmann gave "Your Name" the rating of A+, so while I've tried to watch some anime like Erased and My Hero Academia, it didn't interested me as much as some movies and western cartoons at the time. But then something happened and that's when in one faithful day me and my friends watch episode 8-10 of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid while we wait for the time to come home. At first when I saw this anime at twitter I thought it...

The Simplicity of Yuru Camp that Breaks Boundaries (Yuru Camp Review)

The concept of Slice of Life moe blob anime is pretty much dying. Sure every year we get two or more shows like this lane but what I mean by dying is lack of ideas in these type of show or they just running out of ideas and pick the most absurd one (I'm looking at you Slow Start although you're not bad). And furthermore, these type of shows rarely gets a lot of attention by anime fans that are put off by the art styles which yes it's an acquired taste at best. But lately Slice of Life or Moe art style has been really popular lately with the likes of Made In Abyss, Girls Last Tour, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, and to lesser extent Blend S and New Game. All of these shows are not just successful commercially but some of them are getting critical acclaimed and that got me thinking, for much of these genre has been in stagnant before 2017 people who created them are thinking the same and so they uses the moe art to told their stories. Whether it's tragedy like Mad...

Girls Last Tour Review

There's no denying that there's a lot of war pieces or post-war movies out there whether it's Saving Private Ryan, Dunkirk, Apocalypse Now etc. I think the reason why we love to make stories about war is that many people fantasize about war and how it's gonna altered humanity as we know it, especially when it comes to how people are gonna survived this war and if they did survived how they gonna rebuild the world that has been devastated by this catastrophic events and even then how different it is to the civilization before the war. These are the question that the answer are still speculation because such an event hasn't even been closed to wipe out humanity as a whole or even matches it. Now why am I talking about this you may asked. Well I went and watch Girls Last Tour, a post-apocalyptic or war anime about two girls, Chito and Yuuri trying to survive in a world where it's only just a ruin. And I found this anime to be quite fascinating for a numbe...

Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun Review

Can't believed I watch this anime because I saw a compilation of Kashima, oh well hello everyone SGWHO here and let's talk about romance anime. Romance and anime is like bread and a jams, very common and the quality of it is determined whether you like the bread or the jam. now my favorite bread and jam is romantic comedy. Something about how these characters interacted with each other in comedic way but they still have a feelings with each others really grabbed me. Also one of the things that these anime has to offers is the great story or if it's episodic anime great humor and believable characters. speaking of characters that can be romantic anime's biggest weaknesses. sometimes they can be generic, submissive or worst case scenario just plain awful.  That's why when I've some buzz around Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun around my circle I'm interested by it. especially the key animation of this anime also has animated To LOVE-ru before this and also has...

Anime Reports (Winter 2018)

Hello and welcome to my little series I'd like to call "Anime Reports". This isn't about anime news but rather about the anime that I've watched in one seasonal anime and whether or not you should check them or not. Since I'm new to this seasonal anime thing I wanna step forward and experimenting with my new love for anime and so this was born to give you guys my first impression to what anime I watch this season. Now this season seems to be average out to be decent overall with some duds that yes we will get to but overall between Netflix giving us actual great anime, Amazon shutting down Anime Strikes and countless of sequels makes this season kinda great. Now I should address that I haven't seen all anime this season because there's so much anime that either doesn't interested me or are sequels from older series like Overlord, The Seven Deadly Sins and yeah Cardcaptor Sakura as well. But I think I have great amount of anime I can talk about and...
