Looking back at this dismal year through pop music has been interesting to me. I feel like after the blockbuster year of 2024, there were a sense of dread that lingered from that year even if it was a great year for pop music. Music is a medium that reflects culture the most instant. While both movies and TV shows are usually have a time frames for them to be created and it doesn't immediately impacted the culture as much. Music especially pop music are easier and faster to make. With the invention of the internet and artists have shorter time in between releasing the music they have made during that year and marketing it.
